This is quite abrupt and unexpected, till now I’ve written more about self-help stuff on this blog, why jump into religiosity?

Welcome to the mystifying world of the Bhagavad Gita, god’s eternal song, and possibly our only way outta this world of ego, greed, and lust..

First thing I want to make clear is, the Bhagavad Gita is NOT a religious book, it is by no means connected to only Hindu’s, it’s a book of enlightenment, wisdom and pure, clean, and undying knowledge.

Secondly, it’s a book of wonder, many surprises await inside the book, some may shock you, some may be relatable, and others fill you with an unsatiable thirst for knowledge and yearning for devotion.

This wisdom was given by Lord Krishna, the supreme god, to Arjuna, one of the 5 Pandavas, over 5000 years ago when Arjuna was in his most troubled state on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. It’s a sign that spirituality can be practiced anywhere even on a battlefield.

But the thing is, although this was said so many years ago, it can still be implemented and practiced today. In fact, humans in this century and so many more centuries to come, need this wisdom to attain perfection and discipline, as well as stay on the path of true dharma.

Starting tomorrow and every Sunday thereafter, I’ll be breaking down each verse from all 18 chapters of the Gita.

It’s burst of learning and knowledge for you and me.
